Trafalgar International Dinner – Tickets on sale soon and volunteers needed – May 3rd

Please mark May 3rd 6:00-8:00pm in your calendar for Trafalgar’s great social and community building event – the International Pot Luck Dinner and Fantasy Basket Draw in the school gym.  Don’t miss the chance to break bread with other amazing families in the Trafalgar community! The focus of this year’s International Dinner is diversity, unity and cultural exchange. Planned so far are the always popular Fantasy Basket draw, live music from students prior to dinner and a DJ during the event.  We even welcome guests to come in fancy dress or traditional costume to enhance the ambiance of the event.   Hope to see you there!

Event tickets are $3/person, $10/family. They will be on sale on April 30th, May 1st, 2nd, and 3rd before and after school as well as the night of the event. 

Fantasy baskets will be ready for display on April 19th in the library and will be displayed until the International dinner. Raffle tickets will be on sale the same days as the International dinner tickets on the dates above. April 30th is Buy One Get One free day!! Note- though the winners will be announced at the International dinner, you do not have to present to win but we sure hope you will be! All proceeds go to the PAC. 

Bring an appetizer or entree for 10 people to share as well as plates, cups and utensils for your family. Dessert and Ice tea will be provided. 

The event still needs some volunteers.  a) Set up the tables and do decorations 4:30-5:30 pm  b) Display and supervise the food  6:00-7:00 pm or 7:00-8:00 pm  c) Final cleanup 8:00-8:30 pm  d) Ticket sales   April 30th, May 1st, 2nd, 3rd 8:45-9:15 am or 2:45-3:15 pm, in front of the school entrances.

Early dismissal – Apr 24 and 25

Early dismissal at 2pm on Wednesday, April 24th and Thursday, April 25th for student led conferences.

Volleyball Clinics

Clinics are half day sessions ($17.50) or Full day options ($35.00).  Costs include all online registration and credit card & web server processing fees).  Students should bring water bottles, snacks and lunch.

Please visit the VSSAA website which is www.vancouverschoolsports.ca – the Pro-D clinics and camps can be found under the SPECIAL EVENTS TAB on the top of the home page.  Under each of the sport headings there is a brief description of the camp.  Click on the REGISTER TAB to be taken to then to the online registration section – a family account will need to be created and then add the athlete information to your account prior to registering for the clinic or camp of your choice.
