Mmm Mm! It’s Hot Lunch Tomorrow
Put those lunch boxes away, hot lunch is tomorrow! A reminder families can still order for the next and all hot lunches for the semester. Simply order by the Thursday at midnight deadline a week before any hot lunch. To browse the menu and order go to trafalgar.hotlunches.net The access code to register for the year is PAC2016HL.
No School – Monday December 5th
A reminder there is a district-wide professional day on Monday December 5th and there will be no school. A perfect day to mail those letters to Santa or to tell go tell the big guy about all those Christmas wishes!
Monthly Coffee Morning – December 6th from 9–10AM
The fourth monthly Trafalgar coffee morning will be held on Monday December 6th from 9-10 AM in the school’s activity room and will be hosted by the grade 5 and 6 parents. This is a great way to start your day and meet and chat with other parents. Further, the International Dinner Fashion Show team are looking for volunteers interested in doing a turn on the catwalk. Bonus Hot Dog Day Comin’ Your Way! – December 7th
Dig out those toonies and loonies, Wednesday December 7th is a hot dog day! Dogs are $2 each, include all the usual toppings, contain no added preservatives and come in a whole wheat bun. Also, proceeds from hot dog day go to support your PAC. What more could you ask from a hot dog? Hot Dog Days are generally every other Wednesday. Hot Dog Day Call for Volunteers – The hot dog day team is looking for volunteers. Who doesn’t love to see smiling, young faces so very happy to see you…and their lunch? Do you have some time over the noon hour on Wednesdays? Then you are a perfect candidate to become a hot dog day volunteer. It’s easy as pie and lots of fun. Santa’s Workshop – Bring on the Merry! – December 8th
Trafalgar’s third annual Santa’s Workshop will be held on December 8th. The workshop gives all our little elves the opportunity to purchase gifts for their loved ones for only $1 per item. All proceeds from this event will be donated to Covenant House. The team is accepting donations for the workshop so please drop off your items in the hall along the gallery wall across from the staff room. Some popular items include books, jewellery, cufflinks, DVDs, CDs, Games, puzzles, candles, pictures, toys, ties, scarves, vases, ornaments and anything else that could be re-gifted. Gifts for Dads run out quickly so donations of men’s gifts are very much appreciated. The organizers are also accepting donations of wrapping paper, gift bags, bows and name tags as the older grades will be helping to wrap the students’ purchases. Please also remember to send the kiddos to school with pockets full of toonies and loonies to do their Christmas shopping on December 8th. This event is very popular among our generous students as they so enjoy picking out the perfect gifts for their loved ones. Bring on the Merry!
After School Programming – Registration Now Open!
Are the kids “So bored!” after school? Could you use a little extra time to run errands and get dinner on the table? Well do we have a solution for you! The after school programs team has been working hard to set up a number of wonderful, enrichment programs which will be offered after school on the school grounds! Registration is now open!

Together We WENT Beyond!
Thank you Trafalgar families for your generous support of our Go Beyond! fundraising campaign. Because of your donations, PAC will be able to fulfill all of its goals for our students in this coming year with programs that inspire and teach. Together, we can go beyond! A huge thank you to Rupinder Kang for leading this very successful direct appeal campaign and to all volunteers who were part of the team.
A note that VSB issued tax receipts will be mailed out in February.
