There will be a district PAC meeting on Thursday, November 24th from 6:50-9:15 p.m., Vancouver School Board, 1580 West Broadway. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Steve Cardwell (Superintendent) will present at the start of the meeting. Also speaking will be Raj Dhasi, a conflict resolution consultant with Turning Point Resolutions. She works with families, schools and organizations across Canada to resolve conflicts effectively. She will be speaking on “Managing Conflict with Your Child’s Brain in Mind.”

If you can see a pattern of conflict developing between you and your child then this workshop is for you! This session focuses on conflict management strategies and skills that take into consideration the development of a child’s brain. The focus is on building your connection with your child while helping you set limits and support empathic brain development. By understanding the development of your child’s brain you will gain a better understanding of why some conflicts occur and how to work smarter not harder to build a great relationship with your child.
