On February 7th, the DPAC (District Parent Advisory Council) held a special town hall meeting to discuss the School Board’s 2013-2014 budget. At the meeting, the consensus was that the School Board is not receiving adequate funding from the Provincial Government to meet the needs of students.
As a result, the DPAC has decided to petition the Provincial Government for increased funding. The petition is available online if you’d like to sign it. You can also print it and collect signatures manually. You can read the DPAC’s recent newsletter on this topic and visit the DPAC website for more information.
