PAC meeting – update

We had a very successful PAC meeting last night! Thank you so much to all those who attended. It was a very productive conversation and we came away with many suggestions for a 5 year technology plan (to be developed in the very near future!). A special thank you to Mme. Aimee and Mme. Ashley who attended last night’s meetings and gave us some very valuable feedback. Thank you also to Mme. Cruickshank who attended last month’s meeting. It is so helpful to have the teachers’ perspectives at the meetings. We will keep you updated on the technology plans in the coming months.

Santa’s workshop 2017

Trafalgar’s fourth annual Santa’s Workshop will be held on December 18th.  The workshop gives all our little elves the opportunity to purchase gifts for their loved ones for only $1 per item.  Proceeds from this event will be donated to a local charity.  The team is now accepting donations! Items can be dropped off in the hall across from the staff room along the gallery wall. Some popular items include books, jewellery, cufflinks, DVDs, CDs, Games, puzzles, candles, pictures, toys, ties, scarves, vases, ornaments and anything else that could be re-gifted. Gifts for Moms and Dads run out quickly so donations of men’s and women’s gifts are very much appreciated. Starting Monday, there will be a box in each homeroom that we are hoping parents will fill with wrapping paper, gift bags of all sizes (preferred!), bows, name tags, and tape for the kids to use. If you would like to help volunteer for this fun event, please contact Jennie at jennieclaire@hotmail.com.

Festive coffee morning

Trafalgar will be holding a holiday coffee morning on December 15th at 9am in the activity room. Come join other parents to celebrate the season over a coffee and treats. If you are able to volunteer for this event, please email tmacleod2000@gmail.com.
