Playground Opening and Celebration – Tomorrow!

Our kids have spent the last few weeks getting to know the new Trafalgar School Playground. To celebrate this amazing new play structure we are having a brief opening celebration on Friday April 29th at 3:15pm.
This event marks the official opening of the Trafalgar playground and will include a ribbon cutting, thank you speeches to our corporate donor as well as thanks to our wonderful Trafalgar community.
Please join us in celebrating the collaborative efforts of our community in making this playground possible. Cake will be served and the children will be invited to enjoy their new playground. Speeches will commence at 3:15pm after the popsicle sale for the Grade 4’s Camp Jubilee is completed.

The Last Camp Jubilee Grade 4 Popsicle Sale is Tomorrow

The last popsicle sale is scheduled for Friday April 29th after school. Thank you to all those who came out and bought a popsicle at the April 8th and 22nd sales. Finish the week with a well-earned and refreshing treat while supporting our Grade 4’s!

The Trafalgar Out of School Care Society (TOOSCS) is currently accepting applications for a part-time Administrator / Bookkeeper. Social Media Education and Awareness Session – Wednesday May 18th

Social media and mobile communications have changed our world and the way our children communicate and socialize – are you keeping up with the changing technology? Are you comfortable parenting in the age of online communication?
The Kitsilano PAC is excited to have renowned social media expert and speaker Jesse Miller of Mediated Reality ( present to parents the realities facing youth as they become social media users; what kids are really doing on-line and how parents can help keep their children safe. Jesse’s presentation will be followed by a question and answer period. We welcome all Kitsilano parents and parents from surrounding schools to join us for this very important event.
