New Hot Lunch Items Coming this Fall!

Look out for new additions to the Hot Lunch menu in the Fall! The PAC taste tested maki rolls (California, vegetable, and cucumber rolls) and bagel sandwiches (smoked salmon, turkey, and vegetarian). Two students from each class from grades 3 upwards were escorted to the PAC kitchen and asked to try the items and to vote for their favourite. Comments and feedback were also collected. The next step is to determine whether they can be added at a reasonable price for our families. The maki rolls were from Choices Market on 16th and the bagel sandwiches from Rosemary and Rocksalt Bagels. The PAC thanks them for their assistance in making the taste test a success!

Camp Jubilee Fall Fundraiser – Reusable Snack Bags

The Grade 4’s will be holding a fundraiser early in September to raise funds for Camp Jubilee. They will be selling reusable snack bags.  This is a great program that helps reduce waste in our school and will raise funds for the Grade 4’s trip to Camp Jubilee in October 2016.  The Grade 4 classes will be selling small and wide snack bags for $8 each and large snack bags for $9 each.  The bags will be available in 12 prints, are made in Canada and are reusable.
You can visit www.colibricanada.com for product information and watch for order forms to come home in the fall!
