With society heading in a direction of being constantly connected to technology, what do we need to know as parents to protect our kids and teach them responsible and appropriate use of technology? The parameters of rules and expectations that you put in place at home will undoubtedly guide their behaviour in the years to come. Please join us for an informative presentation which will cover the following topics and more!
The presentation is by Safer Schools Together – a local organization endorsed by the Ministry of Education which has a proven record of helping schools throughout North America in Violence & Bullying Behaviour Prevention and Intervention Strategies

Hip Hop Performance – Thursday November 16th 1PM
Performances will begin at 1:15PM. Parents are asked to stay until the end of the performance, around 2:45PM to ensure that all children have a big enthusiastic audience for their performances!👏👏🕺🕺💃💃
DPAC general meeting – Thursday November 23rd 7PM
DPAC General Meeting, Room 180, VSB Board Office. This meeting will be a workshop with representatives from the VSB, teachers’ unions, Ministry of Education and UBC presenting on various aspects of the upcoming changes to communicating student learning (ie: new reporting model). Each school will have the opportunity to interactively provide feedback on specific questions posed by these representatives.
