Thank you so much to everyone who came out in the rain to our Welcome Back Social!  It was wonderful to see our community interacting with each other and the school staff. A special thanks to all of the volunteers who gave up their socializing time to hand out pizza. We appreciate you!
Your Sunday update for:
  • Direct appeal
  • teacher wish lists
  • photo day
  • hot lunch
  • Volunteers need for Monsters Ball
  • After school programs
Direct Appeal, Direct Appeal!! Every year, the PAC kindly asks that our parent community supports our programming with a donation. Last year, we funded classroom readers, robotics kits, laptops, iPads, art and music performances, sports equipment, community events, and much more. These funds were also used for hands-on workshops for our students- Body Science with Saleema Noon, drumming, Hip Hop, Geering Up, Earthbites, and gymnastics. We hope continue to bring these rich experiences to our students every year. We are happy to report that the students will also receive three 1 hour Art workshops with Paintillio this year that will end with all of the students painting a large mural in main hallway of the school. Our goal is to raise $25,000 and we can achieve this with a suggested donation of $125 from our families. We are almost 1/3 of the way toward our goal! The campaign ends Friday, October 5th so please don’t delay! You can donate online at under the Fundraising Open tab. You can also donate by cheque to Trafalgar Elementary PAC. Please put the cheques in the slot outside the office marked Direct Appeal. Thank you so much!

Teacher Wish lists– Parents, do you have items from your home that are gently-used and your family is done with?  Art easels, blankets, cushions, sewing items, craft supplies, etc? Please consider donating them to one of the teacher’s wish lists, in the link below. They will find a new life in one of our school’s classrooms. What a great way to reduce and reuse! Please view the items and sign up at User name: Trafalgar and password: wish list. There will be a box in the main hall across from the staff room to collect the donated items until October 12th. Thanks for participating!
Photo Day – Tuesday – Parents, help them dress their best (or, at least, don’t give them any Crisco) — individual photo day is Tuesday.
