We hope all Trafalgar students enjoyed the long weekend. The next Pro D day is on 25 October.
It was wonderful to see so many Trafalgar families at Thursday night’s Meet the Teacher / Welcome Back Social event. Our children are lucky to be attending such a dynamic and inclusive school. A big thank you to all of the volunteers who made the evening so enjoyable.
- Tuesday – Photo Day, let’s hope your hair stays that way today…
- Tuesday, 7pm – First PAC meeting, in the library
- Tuesday, midnight – Ordering deadline for the first hot lunch of the year
This is it! Our big campaign to fund the programs for the rest of the year is now on. With just 2 weeks left, we’re hoping all families will log into their VSB School Cash Online portal and send in a donation to support this year’s school activities.
Our goals are to:
- raise $25,000 for the benefit of all students at Trafalgar
- achieve 100% participation – a donation of any size from each family at the school
We have ambitious plans that reach all facets of learning and having fun at Trafalgar.
PAC Meeting – Tuesday 24 Sep

Annual Scholastic Book Fair
October 9th and 10th
This is on a Wednesday and Thursday to coincide with the Parent Teacher conferences.
The Fair will be held in the School Gym and there will be both French and English books available for sale, for all ages of readers, and everyone is welcome.
It’s a great opportunity to shop for early holiday gifts or by a book to donate to your childs’ classroom!
This is the largest fundraiser the PAC holds for the benefit of our library and learning commons and typically raises around 4- 8 thousand dollars in purchasing power for the purchase of new books and resources each year. In fact for every 2 books purchased at the sale, Trafalgar receives a Book to stock our library.
Please come out and support this event and if you’d like to volunteer there is a sign up link in the upcoming newsletter.
