Playground Update and Thank You!

Thank you to all Trafalgar families and local businesses who contributed to help us raise over $159,000 for the new playground structures! This includes money set aside from previous PAC donations, Spring & Fall fundraising, Grad 2015, Canucks raffle and a $5,000 donation from our local Choices grocery store. In addition, we have been fortunate to also receive prize donations from local suppliers including Pizzeria Bufula, Calhouns, Subway and Butter and Broadway Brewing, which made up the prizes for the Valentines raffle.
With these funds the large wooden playground will be replaced and a net structure will be added. The expansion to the smaller junior play structure has been put on hold for future consideration. There is a visual of the new structures on display in the hallway near school gym.

Please save the dates of April 1-3 as volunteers are needed for the community build of the playground. Please see the full letter here to sign up for various roles in the final phase of this exciting project!
