Direct Appeal Update

Thank you for your generosity Trafalgar families! The Direct Appeal Campaign was officially completed on October 30th.
While final numbers are still being tallied, with your support the PAC has reached the middle range of its goal for the school playground – approximately $135,000 has been raised since June! The more the PAC collects, the more it can provide for the kids and the community. The PAC aspires not only to replace the wooden playground structure, but also to provide a space net and to expand the smaller steel playground for Ks to Grade 2s.
This funding for the playground is wonderful, but donations for non-playground purposes are much lower than in past years. This means the PAC will be spending less money on all of those activities and programs that enrich the student experience including the library, outdoor garden, technology, sports, cultural activities and teacher requests.
However, donations are still being accepted through November if you haven’t had a chance to make a contribution. The donation box and donation forms are outside the office.
Thank you!
