Pink Shirt Day – Wednesday February 24th (tomorrow!)

Wear pink and stand up against bullying. Students will attend a pink shirt day assembly at 11:00 AM to learn more about this important campaign.

Panel Event on Public Education – Feb 24th from 7:00 – 8:30 PM Bayview Elementary School

The event will focus on what is happening to public education in BC, how we got where we are, and actions we can take to advocate for quality education for our children.
There will be speakers from PENS (Public Education Network Society) and PAN (Parent Advocacy Network) for Public Education.

School Garden – Getting Ready for Spring – Get Your Orders In!

There are 2 ways YOU can help the school garden get ready for spring!
1) pre-order items for the spring pocket market. Orders due Feb 24 and then visit the pocket market on March 3
2) order some great local spring vegetables- sprouts, cucumber, mushrooms, peppers and tomatoes!  Support local farmers and the school garden!  40% of the proceeds go directly to the garden. Look for the green form in the agenda. Act fast- orders due Friday Feb 26 in the box outside the office. Veggies will be delivered in early May.

The Trafalgar Out of School Care Society [TOOSCS] is non‐profit, sustainable, parent‐run childcare centre providing safe, appropriate and inclusive care to children registered at Trafalgar Elementary School and the surrounding neighbourhood.
