Building a killer whale skeleton – November 4/5

Six Trafalgar classes had an opportunity to build a killer whale skeleton as part of a recent field trip.  For those children that missed this opportunity, Britannia Shipyards and Sea Smart are hosting a free event where kids can participate in this unique activity.  More information available on their event page here.  Sea Smart is one of our after school program providers.  At the Sea Smart after school program, a marine biologist teaches kids about ocean science, critical thinking and teamwork through fun and stimulating activities.  Registration for the next term (starting Jan 16) is already open.  Apply by Dec 15  and receive our 10% early bird discount (promo code OEEARLY10).  You can register online here.

More details to come but please start setting aside all of those items that you would like to donate- toys, books, and especially any mom and dad gifts! This is such a fun activity for the kids.
