We will be holding our 2012 Sports Day on Friday June 15, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please note the 1:00 p.m. dismissal time.
Our planned schedule is as follows:
09:00   All students go to their regular classrooms for attendance.
09:10   Classes meet on the westside of the school for warm-up and cheers.
10:00   Sports Day stations begin on the eastside of the school.
11:31   Primary students go to the gym and receive Hot Lunch.
Intermediate students participate in the Tug of War on the grass field (eastside of the school)
12:00   Intermediate students go to the gym and receive Hot Lunch.
12:30   Return to classrooms for freezies, ribbons, and overall point tally.
01:00   Dismissal from classrooms.
This day relies on parent volunteers to run the stations, deliver water, snacks, freezies and lunches. Parents and family members are welcome to watch the activities and spend the day with us.
In the event of heavy rainfall, the Sports Day committee will arrange for alternative activities inside the school. We encourage students to dress in their team colours. Please also ensure your child is dressed for the weather and has suitable clothing for running and active movement. If the weather is sunny, we advise students to wear a hat and sunscreen (applied before school).
