Reminder This Weekend – Playground Community Build – April 2nd and 3rd

It’s happening!! A reminder the playground community build occurs this weekend on Saturday and Sunday. We are looking forward to seeing all volunteers this weekend. Thank you for your commitment to the final phase of this exciting project!

International Dinner – April 14th 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM – Trafalgar School Gym

Tickets are on sale NOW daily from Tuesday March 29th at 8:40am – 9:00am and 2:55pm – 3:10pm in the main foyer.

Basket raffles tickets: To view the 21 incredible Fantasy Baskets, please visit the school library where they will be on display beginning Monday April 11th 2016.

Tickets for the basket raffle will be $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00 or 30 for $20.00

Camp Jubilee Grade 4 Fundraisers – Popsicle Sales and Cash for Clothes

The Grade 4 classes have organized a number of fundraisers to raise funds for Camp Jubilee.

Popsicle Sales – Have been organized for April 8th, 22nd and 29th after school. Finish the week with a well-earned and refreshing treat while supporting our Grade 4’s!

Cash for Clothes Help support the Grade 4’s while doing your Spring cleaning! Please set aside your gently used clothing for donation. Bags will be provided and distributed to classes starting April 4th. Instructions will be provided with the bags and the filled bags can be dropped off at school until April 20th.

Get involved with shaping the future of our schools

The Vancouver School Board is asking for input from parents regarding their Long Range Facilities Plan (LRFP), which sets goals for schools including use of school facilities, seismic upgrades and school closures.  Feedback for the LRFP will be taken in a series of public open houses and workshops over the next two months.

Scholastic Book Fair Recap – Thank YOU!

The scholastic book fair was a huge success. Thank you to all those who purchased books for your support. The event was an outstanding fundraiser for the school’s library. Mr. Kabeles class alone sold a record breaking $400 worth of books.
A big THANK YOU to the fair’s organizers Janice Johnson and Amanda Magee as well as division 19’s parents for setting up the fair with help from Maria Conway, Pennie George, Isabelle and Nadya Bremner, Marie-France Leroi, Constantine Killas and Nora Harmsworth.
