PAC Meeting May 25th – Guest Speaker: Zones of Regulation

All parents and guardians are welcome to the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings. The May meeting will take place at 7:00 PM in the school library.

This meeting is very special because guest speaker, Bryce Recsky,VSB Behaviour Consultant, will be joining us to speak on self regulation and the zones of regulation program. One of the school’s goals this year was to implement the self-regulation program Zones of Regulation. Early in the year, staff and students began to work with Todd Schleyer, who is a STIBS (Short Term Intensive Behaviour Support) worker from VSB. Come out and learn more about this important initiative.

Prince of Wales Secondary – Parent Tours – May 26th 10:45 AM

Prince of Wales Secondary will be holding tours for parents and guardians. This is a chance to see the school in action. Parents, guardians and grandparents are all welcome. Please email to RSVP.

Coffee and tea will be served during a question and answer session and then the tour will take place from 11 AM to 11:30 AM

Bike to School Week – May 30th to June 3rd

Parents and guardians are reminded that bike to school week is coming up May 30th to June 3rd. There will be a bike safety check from 8:15-9:00AM on May 30th provided free of charge by More Bikes. Make sure your bike is ready to ride! A big THANK YOU! to More Bikes for tuning up our rides.
During bike to school week, ride your bike to school everyday and help Trafalgar fill the road with stickers! See the bulletin board in the front hall for details.
June 3rd is People Power Day – walk, roll, or bike to school. Prizes and snacks provided!
