Traffic Safety

When it comes to traffic; Safety is the Number One Priority. We all know how stressful it is to get the kids to school on time as well as arrive on time to our own commitments. However, nothing should trump our children’s safety, or the safety of those in our community. Please slow down, take a breath and pay attention when you are dropping off and picking up the kids. Please watch closely for children darting into traffic, follow the signage and don’t stop where you should not. Above all, please remain calm and lead by example.

Should you witness unsafe traffic maneuvers, please take the time to contact Jody Johns of the City’s Traffic Enforcement Office at 604-717-2997 with your concerns. Once Jody receives a significant number of calls for the traffic at Trafalgar, a police officer and parking enforcement staff will be sent to the school to hand out tickets for violations.
