Playground Build Update – We’re so Close! – Volunteers Still Needed for Finishing Touches

The playground community build went very well over the weekend. Some finishing touches are still required and expected to be completed this week. The structure also needs to pass inspection before it can be opened for use.
Volunteers are gathering tomorrow directly after school to finish spreading wood chips at the base of the structure. Please contact Bronwyn MacLean at tooscsmanager@live.ca if you have questions about participating. Note that volunteers must sign a waiver, childcare is not available and children are not allowed on the build site. Thank you for your continued efforts!
The PAC would like to thank all volunteers who came out this weekend for the build. There will be some aching backs and sore muscles tomorrow for certain and we are tremendously grateful for your efforts!

Get involved with shaping the future of our schools

The Vancouver School Board is asking for input from parents regarding their Long Range Facilities Plan (LRFP), which sets goals for schools including use of school facilities, seismic upgrades and school closures.  Feedback for the LRFP will be taken in a series of public open houses and workshops over the next two months.
