Fantasy Basket Raffle
Students can preview the 20 incredible themed division baskets in the school library starting Monday, May 4th.
As with PACs across the city, rather than ask members of the Trafalgar community TO participate in many small fundraising initiatives throughout the year, the Trafalgar PAC appeals to families to make a donation at the beginning of each school year.
Why ask for direct donations?
Families benefit: Trafalgar families are busy families. This direct appeal helps take some of the pressure off families by reducing the time and energy needed for constant fundraising. In short, it frees up time to focus on building a strong, vibrant Trafalgar community.
Students benefit: 100% of funds raised through the direct appeal can be immediately used to provide an enriching learning experience for students. No fundraising expenses. No third-party payments.
What are the funds used for?
Funds raised by the direct appeal are used to pay for educational experiences and materials the Vancouver School Board doesn’t fund, such as:
Classroom resources including art supplies, instruments and technology resources,
Winter and spring student concerts,
Health, dance and music workshops,
Athletic equipment and team uniforms,
Books and literacy programs,
Materials for school clubs, and more!
How much should I donate?
The Trafalgar PAC’s aim is to collect a total of $25,000 through the direct appeal and $100 per family will enable us to reach that goal. All donations are anonymous and any amount has a positive impact. Please donate whatever amount works best for your family.
